Mold Making & Slumping After you have completed Glass Fusing, youll want to attend this workshop and continue learning. Learn how to prepare your own ceramic mold and slump a small glass bowl. Three projects will be completed in class. Equipment and proper kiln use will also be covered. Bring safety glasses and super glue.

| Advanced
Fusing Techniques Go beyond the basics and explore a variety of techniques for using fusible ma-terials like iridescent glass. Emphasis will be on technical and artistic possibili-ties. We will work with frit, powders, stringer and metal and glass molds. You must have taken both the Glass Fusing and Glass Slumping & Mold Making classes or have equivalent experience. Bring safety glasses and super glue.

| Fused Glass Jewelry Pendants This is the class for everyone interested in learning glass fusing. The class will start with basics of fusing and teach you the techniques necessary to successfully work with kiln formed glass. It is a fun, hands on class that starts with glass cutting and ends with your own fused glass jewelry pendants. Students will create several pendants during the class. A glass kiln will be fired during class for the students to view. Work created by students during class will be fired between sessions. During the last session, the student will finalize their work and Diane will present a lecture on firing a glass kiln for jewelry pieces. This is a beginning level class.

Glass Plates At Arrow Springs, this class continues on from the Fused Glass Jewelry class listed above. You will be working with and creating larger glass art. Students will create 3 different plates, one 7" x 7" square plate, one 5" x 9¼" rectangular tray, and one 5" x 8½" sushi plate. A glass kiln will be fired during class for the students to view. Work created by students during class will be fired between sessions. During the last session, students will finalize their work and Diane will present a lecture on firing a glass kiln for large pieces. This is a beginning level class.
