| Explore the art of Glass Fusing. Historically, fused glass was made by Europeans during the Renaissance period as well as the ancient Egyptians. In class, we will discuss the properties of glass, dichroic glass (metal plated glass), glass preparation and layering. We will have a small kiln in class for the students to see a firing in progress. Our projects will include a wind chime, dichroic magnets, and simple jewelry. Age Group: 4th grade elementary through high school. Introductory class $25 one 2 hour session, 6 child minimum. Individual Private Lessons are Available. |
